Irresponsible is a bit harsh I would say. Yes, hindsight, I wish we would have

called in the Fall. But if they would make an exception in the fall, why couldn't they do so in the winter? Must we be so punitive to students who are obviously trying to do what is right and are exactly the kind of kids BYU wants? Does COVID not at least factor in here anywhere? I don't think BYU has to take this strict of approach to maintain fairness and control over the admissions process. The zero exception policy is lazy and poor service for an organization that should be better than that.
