We’re demoing our kitchen for a complete remodel. In order to have another kitchen set up, been making lots of changes in the basement laundry room.

I hauled out a 60 year old bushel scale from my basement today. Been sitting and collecting dust and cobwebs in that basement for better part of 50 years.

Thing’s about 200 pounds. Hauled it out and went and told my wife who freaked out because it was her great grandpa’s in his neighborhood store.

No one has touched, used, talked about, or shown off this piece of junk since it landed there, but somehow I’m the bad guy for finally getting rid of it.
