Money and better recruits mean much more than "Big Dog Status"
They will make more money in the SEC than in the Big 12, especially long term. Especially with the lure of NIL money.
The SEC will be able to eliminate the #3 conference in payout, and get what are likely to be two of the biggest prizes in expansion.
