Just watched space jam
It had some really nice elements. Cheadle was great as a villain. Lebron wasn’t as bad as I thought he would be. The concept and story line were good. Kid actor was pretty dang good. A lot of the Warner bros add ins were kind of fun, although it starts to feel like they are trying too hard to promote everything Warner bros and it starts to feel like a shameless advertisement.

I think loony toons just seem very past their prime. Seems like when I was younger that bugs bunny was a bigger deal, same with taz etc… but not sure my kids have ever referenced any of the loony toons. Maybe this movie can help resurrect them?

It could have been really great. At times it felt like a mix of into the spider verse and wreck it Ralph or Ralph breaks the internet.

But some parts were too cheesy and it was a bit too long. My kids liked it. But I think at the end of the day they were pretty close to a good movie but it lagged in key spots where there were some dumb lines and unnecessary stuff that wasn’t funny enough to stay in the movie. It bugs me that I feel like I could’ve told them which stuff to cut and it would’ve been a lot better movie.

I like that it acts as a gateway for the kids into a possible interest in sports. My 2 year old now has a lebron james toy from mcdonald’s and plays with him and references him like he would Spider-Man or iron man. That’s impressive that lebron pulled that off… so I have to hand it to him. But I feel like the movie could’ve been a lot better… they had the pieces they needed they just didn’t come together as good as it could have.
