Baylor doesn’t. In a sane world it would be the exact opposite.
Not all that long ago, Baylor had a men’s basketball player murder a teammate and the head coach tried to cover it up. In fact he attempted to frame his murdered player as a drug dealer. I’m not making that up.
More recently, the head football coach and officials going all the way to the university President covered up and ignored rapes and sexual assault committed by football players.
On what planet does Baylor not have any baggage?
BYU’s baggage? We don’t want to play on Sundays in order to keep one of the Ten Commandments. The horror. And we have an institution that is sponsored by a religion that doesn’t place gay marriage on a theological par with marriage between a man and a woman. The church recognizes the legal right to same sex marriage. Once the SCOTUS came down with the final decision on the matter, the church has done nothing to try to get the court to overturn it. And nothing to try to bring about an amendment to the Constitution to change it.
How, pray tell, is BYU the one with baggage and Baylor isn’t??
