Makes one wonder if this is not where is ultimately going
With chord cutters, cable fail, streaming services,.... each university may be their own, independent entity. Streaming their own games, on their own channel. 24/7 streaming content of that universities sports, and whatever else they think profitable that their fans/alumni would pay for.
