They'd start their own conference first. In a perfect world, you would start a
new conference with the Big 12 leftovers + Houston, Cincinnati, UCF, BYU, and the best remaining teams. I think Tulsa, Tulane, East Carolina, etc. add a lot of dead weight to the AAC.
