The playoffs will have the SEC scoop up 4+ at-large bids, B1G will grab at least another and then its the best of the rest. BYU will never get a sniff.

If they somehow become a part of an updated B12 conf then that all changes. That B12 conf will essentially be an autobid consistently ranked above a gutted AAC or one trick pony MWC. It may be ranked higher than the P12 or ACC some years.

This is the best possible scenario for BYU, so pray the B12 has the canoles to stick it out and remain a conf and that BYU is a part of that new conf. It will give BYU a fantastic shot at a playoff spot within a very winnable conf.
