Don't overlook this benefit to BYU joining a conference:
If and when scheduling becomes difficult because of the woke brigade, we'll be shielded somewhat by being in a conference and having an annual slate of games.
We need to get into a conference sooner rather than later, before this scenario arises. It's akin to vaccination. You need it BEFORE you get sick.
