CFB realignment as Game of Thrones
I am rewatching GoT with HCBW and it dawned on me how similar the CFB landscape is to the various campaigns for power in Game of Thrones Westeros.

Is the SEC the Lannisters? Is Texas like Highgarden and the SEC wants their riches, food rations, and armies to bolster their own power?

The PAC 12 is like Dorne, this weird foreign country that all the other houses/conferences have to put up with.

Big10 is definitely the North. Both geographically and metaphorically.

Maybe BYU is Jon Snow? Dany? Come from nothing but rise?

Maybe Utah is the spineless Little Finger? Always conniving, making moves to gain power but then meets a just fate. Maybe they’re the Frays? Betraying old allies to align themselves with power, only to meet a bloody end.

I don’t know. If I had a few more minutes I’d try to come up with better comparisons.

What do you think?
