According to our good friend mhver3 . . . Texas will stay for more money
Texas is agreeing to stay for the 1.5 share, but Oklahoma may not. Texas is worried about political interference blocking its move.
I tried to verify this with Tuxedo Yoda and Greg Fluguar, but the DudeofWV is still private.
I like this rumor the best, because Texas stays and leaves the Big 12 with 9 teams only. Who could come in and fill that 10th spot immediately?
