I had a mosquito bite in Costa Rica that just hasn’t healed. It has gotten more and more swollen and painful over the last 6 weeks and recently started to bleed/leak. Super gross.

I was planning to go to the doctor tomorrow but looked at it and the hole in the mosquito bite was way bigger than it had been. I also noticed that it looked tan inside, almost like the start of a scab. I squeezed it and the end of a worm came out, then I grabbed it and pulled the rest out while my wife pushed on the swollen would to help push it out.

That was a couple of hours ago and now it feels so much better. No pain, swelling is going down. Still a bit of a knot around the wound but nothing like it was.

It was so gross and I still can’t believe it. We cleaned the would with alcohol and put Neosporin on it.

CB medical people, should I go to a doctor tomorrow? Am I good now? I’m thinking I’ll see how it feels tomorrow and decide but should I still go even if it feels ok?
