You do know that this is part of the reason why we got left out in 2011, right?

BYU was coming off of the MWC TV rights fiasco and its "piece of work" lawyers wanted a lot of assurances about conference composition and TV rights. It seemed like the right thing to do at the time, but it proved to be a colossal failure.

We don't have much to lose this time around. We need to be willing to take whatever we can get.

All scheduling contracts have an out clause for joining a P5. Not a problem.
