I remember Lavell saying “it’s their party they can invite who they want.” I remember the flying tortillas of 2001. Of course I was there for the conference realignments since then along with all the insiders and rumors ; the conspiracy theories and the self-blamers.

Yeah - I’m too old to invest any energy in this scramble. If it happens it happens. If it doesn’t, it’s still my BYU. I seen the powers that be move heaven and earth to keep BYU on the outside. Nothing will surprise me and nothing will crush me.
