How did he move the cage without getting sprayed?

I'm thinking about using a rope to pull the cage into a pool of water once the skunk is in it.

Skunks are relatively easy to trap. I don't know about drowning it, though. Wouldn't it release it's spray when it dies?

No. Drowning them in the cage is a very common tactic.

Thanks. I do know that if you chop off the skunk's head with a shovel, it will spray all over in its death convulsions.

Skunk cages are designed to prevent the skunk from spraying.

This. A skunk won't spray if it can't lift it's tail, and the skunk traps are long and narrow. There's no room for them
