related message to my younger self, I'd tell myself to enjoy the national championship for what it was and not worry about the naysayers and critics. A strange thought I just had for the first time. It occurs to me that we fail to enjoy a lot in life because we're stressing about things that are beyond our control. And it seems like there's a message in there for 2021 me somewhere.
