According to the Big 12 bylaws, the minute OU and TX submitted
letter of intent to leave the conference, the presidents of those schools ceased to serve on the conference Board of Directors.
OU and Texas no longer have a voice in the operations of the Big 12. The bylaws also state their representatives (ADs etc.) will no longer be able to sit on any advisory committee and are barred from attending any meetings.
The departing Director will, of course, not participate in any meetings nor will they receive the minutes of those meetings.
The supermajority is reduced from 8 to 6 votes, until and unless the conference adds new members.
