Just one final thought to consider when thinking about this
The day will come (and probably pretty quickly) when the teams will be allowed to pay their players. When the SEC is making $60+ million a year from television and the PAC is making $30 million a year, who do you think will pay the most? Where do you think the top recruits will go? This is why Oklahoma and Texas are leaving. This is why USC is trying to find somewhere new. You will be left behind.

For BYU I honestly don't see it changing much. I think other schools currently are paying players (I bet Conover was offered money by some anonymous donor from Alabama) currently and those that choose to come to BYU will want to come to BYU. But it will never be like the 1980's again around Provo. I think most of us knew that, but it will be fun nonetheless.
