1) Get on the phone and set things up with Houston.
2) Pitch the Big12 on BYU, Houston, Boise, SDSU, Cincy, and UCF, but starting with BYU and Houston.
3) Join the Big12 with Houston.
4) Help bring on the other four teams.

If the Big12 then loses any teams, you can replace them to get back to 12 or 14, as needed.

To start, the new Big12 should be divided thus:

West: Baylor, Boise, BYU, SDSU, TCU, TTU, UH
East: Cincy, KU, KSU, ISU, OSU, UCF, WVU

Does this have the same cachet as a Big12 with OU/UT? Of course not, but it sure beats both the AAC and the MWC AND Indy.
