that matters is that all schools have the right (based on fair criteria) to play into the 12 (or 16 or 32) team playoff. Every conference or school has the right to monetize as much as they can. Any construct that results that does not establish fair criteria to get into the playoff opens itself up to litigation. There is much at stake with whatever construct is set up next, and I believe if schools are unfairly excluded litigation will result.
