If she was already mentally not ok but added media pressure by NBC and handing her an actual goat while calling her the GOAT is not okay. While fielding dumb NBC questions like "What does it feel like to be the GOAT?" It can definitely go to your head. She went through a traumatic experience that she is finally open about. She is going to have major anxiety and some panic attacks. You have to keep in mind she is only 24. NBC puts an extreme amount of pressure on these young athletes. So for me, I don't blame Biles I blame the media and social media (I know this generation's latest scapegoat.)

This is why I think any media exclusive deal in sports is extremely toxic. NBC has been running the Olympics for far too long and there is no innovation. NBC treats it like an extension of the Today show trying to create feel-good pieces for the nation.
