I was hard on her for how she approached this.

I was wrong. 100%. No if's, ands or buts.

Given my family's history and my own challenges with mental health it was reactionary of me to express the way I did regarding her approach and the reasoning behind it.

All my best to her and I sincerely hope she gets all the best care she needs.

Being open about it IS a brave approach. I stated what she did wasn't brave. I was wrong. It absolutely was.
