When I was in high school we would hike Bells Canyon every week.
There is a nice waterfall about an hour up which is a great short hike or a nice place to stop for lunch. Just beyond that is “the meadow” and then you can get to the upper Bells reservoir and can go all the way to lone peak.
We used to camp at the upper bells reservoir a couple times per summer. It used to have fish in it. Don’t know if it still does.
