She can speak for and certainly defend herself. She has no regrets about her training, decision to vault, or trust in her coaches. That incredible moment was, in her own words, the pinnacle of her work and dedication and the catapult for the confidence she’s carried for the rest of her life. Anyone trying to cheapen that moment is a dweeb IMO.
