That was precisely what it reminded me of. By all rights it was impossible.
Lezak's split is nearly a full second faster than the world record in the 100-m freestyle.
It absolutely defies description how he did that.
Now Finke did it all by himself, and after having swam 750 meters already.
If someone asked me to pick what was more impressive, I would simpler refuse to pick. They were both Herculean.
