Since BYU’s scheduling agreements with teams as Indy gives them an out if they
join a P5 league “of 4 or more P5 teams” yes. And if that wasn’t a thing it’d probably be yes by default since the rest of the G5 conferences would be so far behind.
Would remind me a lot of the old Big East.
If there’s no real threat of 2+ of the old Big 12 teams leaving in the next decade BYU shouldn’t hesitate to join. Even if say Oklahoma State and the Texas schools were to ever join the PAC it’d still be the strongest conference BYU has ever been a part of, but that scenario might get me wanting Indy back.
