- No one is going to do anything rash or quickly
- Every remaining Big 12 team will try to do what is best for themselves first, which means trying to join the B1G or PAC. They will flirt and sleep around and try to sell themselves. B1G and PAC will look at their options and perform a careful monetary analysis.
- If PAC expands, they add top 4 teams from Big 12 that generate most money. If B1G expands, they add top 2. If they do, remaining teams join AAC.
- However. I don’t think either expands. Therefore, remaining Big 12 will realize no one is going to take them and they will do the next best thing…which isn’t joining the AAC. They add Cinci, UCF, Houston and Memphis.
- That new conference is weaker than prior Big 12 but is much stronger than AAC and all but guarantees a playoff bid every year and commands a decent TV deal.
The end. Mark it down. It’s worth the paper you write it on.
