California prop 13 doubled the tax I pay on the house I bought vs. the former
Owner.
I want to throw up. Both the lender and I assumed it was the assessed property tax rate.
I hate California.
I’m moving there Sunday.

I know it sucks, but Prop 13 did not double the tax. Prop 13 kept the previous owner's property tax from rising up to
