moved on to looking at expansion to solve their revenue problem. I think they know that while expansion may "save" the Big 12 as far as stability is concerned, it isn't necessarily going to solve the huge financial hit they are about to take with Texas and Oklahoma leaving. As such, their goal is to find other options within the P5 before moving towards the expansion route.

If, like you said, nothing really comes from this meeting, then I guess they would move on at that point to looking at expansion as the only viable strategy moving forward.
