Sure it can backfire but I guess my point is you just don't know...I think there is as much potential for good from kids moving around as much as there could be bad. My parents moved me to a new state partway through junior year. There was literally no room in my favorite subject in my new school so I sat like a dweeb in a folding chair in the corner.

But you know what? The move was great for me. I got a fresh start in a place where people didn't have preconceptions of me. This allowed me to do new things and explore interests and I made great new friends
