Of course, this is complete conjecture on my part and there could be a lot of reasons why they've done what they've done. I hope Zach does well but I've never been completely sold that he was truly the 2nd best QB coming out of college. On, CB I guess that makes me a hater but whatever. I do sort of think playing against easier schedules made him look perhaps better than he is. I always felt he held onto the ball too long in college and believe it may take him a couple of years to get better at reading defenses, learning to git rid of the ball faster, etc. Either way, I'll be rooting for him to do well but I do have my reservations. No one can definitely say how well a college QB will do in the NFL so it's always a bit of a crapshoot.
