their chops in anticipation. When we drop 5,000 to 15,000 at every single B12 venue (or maybe more in some cases), it will be a momentum builder, particularly at first when all of the excitement is huge. Ticket volume and prices will increase. When TV ratings increase due to all of the BYU fans watching B12 football, the only question will be if we get the credit.
My guess is that our "power point" in 2016 blew the B12 expansion committee away and they are totally pumped to be inviting us. I will never forget when we traveled to BC and when we stood up and cheered the look of shock on those people around us...and that was a small group comparatively. WVU, Orlando, Houston, Dallas, etc. etc. Big time like they have never seen before.
I wonder about the crowds at basketball. There will be shock at the B12 tournament about the number of fans in Kansas City. Will the full potential of BYUTV finally be realized? Think of all of the sports that could be broadcast.
Here is my hope and prediction. The PAC 12 will realize they were idiots to let religion get in the way and will rue the day that the B12 invited BYU. We finally get a chance to prove it! One thing though - Kalani has to WIN!
Think about it. 40 THOUSAND fans in a far away stadium against a team most expect to come in last place in the PAC. There are only a handful of teams that can match that. I hope we play a lot more games in Las Vegas.
That is my blue koolaid story and I am sticking with it.
