Corners isn't easy but he needs to attack the corner not let him gain speed to blow by him and most importantly keep his feet moving. The left tackle needs to quickly look outside for pressure then turn in towards the guard much faster. It's supposed to be a glance but he kept on looking for a guy when there was nobody to block. You're right, the left side was a mess.
