Not necessarily. One of the best looking, most popular girls at my high school didn't get asked to a few dances
She and I were good friends and I was shocked when she told me. I had assumed she had already been asked by some hot-shot guy already so I didn't even consider asking her. I guess everyone else thought the same thing.
