The one time I really cheered for ASU was the 1996
Nebraska/ASU game. No. 1 Nebraska was undefeated and coming off back to back National Championships.
I grew up all in on the Pac-10. The Sun Devil's 19-0 shutout of the Cornhuskers was unexpected and incredibly impressive. Also the national debut of Jake Plummer.
