RE: Ok, I've read through the entire thread. Ignore everything that's been
I'm a teenage boy and our homecoming dance is next Saturday. The post I'm replying to is very accurate and I thought it needed a repost with a couple things I know added onto it.

Guys don't want to go to homecoming cause it's expensive and during football games and the weekend and yeah, it's just extra. Guys don't care for it unless they have a girlfriend. Seniors go to prom, but no other guys go to prom unless they have a girlfriend.

In that thread I saw a lot of people saying Guys don't ask or are wimps etc. Which is partially true. We are oblivious too, which doesn't help. We still like girls and most guys do date and aren't wimps and stuff but we keep it cheap and chill and don't go on a lot of formal dates. Usually hanging out at each other's house or getting lunch or hanging out with a lot of friends.

We don't want to spend our hard earned money on another man's wife, especially one that's probably stringing along a bunch of other guys too. I'm sure it's tough for a lot of girls too, cause a lot of guys are wimps and clueless or are pushovers and would do anything for the girl they like. Not much in between with a lot of guys.
