2/3rds are women. Unfortunately, there is no cure for migraine disease but there are ways to reduce the number of attacks.
The goal is to reduce the number of triggers. Each trigger fills up the “migraine attack bucket” and when it overflows an attack occurs.
Some of the most common triggers are lack of sleep, food, noise, sound, smell, light, stress, menestrual cycles, and eye strain.
I founded a company with a neuro-ophthalmologist from the UofU who came up with lenses to tackle the “light” portion of the trigger:

By the time people get into their mid-50s the attacks go away.
