Welcome to the BIG12 from Baylor! So happy to have you guys. BYU has really been a P5 conference for years, excelling at most all sports. We cannot wait to travel to beautiful Provo and enjoy the beauty of Utah. From a selfish standpoint, I cannot wait to fly fish the Provo River. A few thoughts here:

1. Maybe the best thing is that you are joining a conference with Texas and Midwest values. Love your neighbor as yourself type stuff. No real PAC12 crazies. When you come to Baylor Stadium, or really any of the venues, nobody will be telling you to F off or some such stuff. Perhaps in Morgantown, but they do not really mean it and will feed you all day. Just ask them for Pepperoni rolls and say you hate Pitt. Teams are rivals but respectful.

2. We root for each other. Every nonconference football game and NCAA tournament basketball game we generally care and want our conference mates to win. For example, I have no affiliation with Iowa State, but I was pissed when they lost to Iowa last week. Every conference bowl game we watch because of pride.

3. Some amazing venues for all sports. Kansas basketball! Football at Oklahoma State and in West Virginia. Baylor Stadium on the River. Fort Worth and the Dallas area have some amazing things to do and see, And now we are adding Provo, Orlando, Houston and Cincy. Phenomenal.

4. Basketball is really big here. Everyone except TCU is insanely good. KenPom is running out of metrics for how good our teams are. BYU is always Top25 so you make the conference so much stronger. I cannot wait to see a game at your 22k seat palace.
