I am shocked
I shouldn't be, but I am shocked at how many people on this board think vaccine mandates are a good thing. In general, BYU fans used to be independently minded and willing to question bad policies. Instead so many of us have turned weak and go along to get along. Natural immunity has already been raised on this thread, but it is one of the most intellectually dishonest aspects of the whole vaccine mandate discussion or lack thereof. It has been shown that Natural immunity is 20+ times more effective than the vaccine but no one will discuss it because it goes outside of the acceptable agenda. How dare we ask such questions or bring up such silly things like data? Instead we try to lump everyone into either the vaccinated or unvaccinated group. What happened to "question everything"? What happened to rational thought?

So many think that our government leaders have our best interests at heart without ever questioning their motives or agenda. I am one who typically gives people the benefit of the doubt and wants things to go back to normal, but I am afraid that is not going to happen, especially as we continue to back down on anything that should raise red flags in our head. Remember the fable of the camel in the tent or the frog in boiling water? that is happening now and I wish more people would be aware of it. Rant over, flame away. GO COUGS!
