Article on the Jets O line and trying to get better
The continual protection breakdowns that plagued the team throughout the summer against their own defensive line, and in joint practices against the Packers and Eagles, appeared tenfold in Carolina. Only this time, Wilson wasn’t protected by a red jersey. The rookie went down six times. He was hit 10 times. He was pressured on more than 46 percent of his drop-backs. You’d have thought the Jets’ offensive game plan was for Wilson to take the snap, and then run for his life.

“We know the corrections we need to make,” Moses said. “The biggest thing is knowing you have a young quarterback. You want to keep him upright. You want to keep him from being on the ground, because at the end of the day, as much as a person wants to say it doesn’t affect them, it does.”

After reading about all the shuffling going on with their OL - yikes I'm even more worried for ZW. Hopefully I'm wrong but having a rookie at qb is difficult enough, having him get destroyed because of atrocious OL play? Honestly they may need to consider use of more TEs or H-backs or somethign to give Zach some level of protection, or else start running the ball.......45 yards rushing in an entire NFL game is a joke.
