I also wonder how differently the game turns out if they call targeting on ASU.
Would’ve been first down in the red zone, up 21-7. Instead BYU got no points out of that drive and the game got close in the second half. Even being up 24-7 going into half totally changes the feel of the game.
BYU has been in a position to drop the hammer each of the first three weeks and hasn’t been able to do it. They’ve been impressive in closing out games, but need to put teams away sometimes too.

Rewatch on the game, we got really lucky ASU kept making stupid mistakes. Drops, penalties. They had chances.
