It’s cause it’s mostly about the players. Fans give WAAAAY too much credit and blame to the coaches. At the end of the
day if you don’t have the talent, speed, size, strength — no amount of expert coaching is going to make a difference.
Coaches are needle movers, they are not miracle workers.

Exactly. “Great coaches” are mostly great sales people/recruiters. There’s no X’s and O’s that can overcome inferior
