If it were up to me I'd create 8-10 9 team geographic conferences that focus on rivalries and familiarity. But that's not happening.

And if I were the G5, I'd create a football premiere conference with regional relegation conferences and then go entirely regional for all other sports. But without a centralized governing body, this will never happen.
