But there’s still quite a gap with byu. Usu has some playmakers with speed and has bought in and is well coached.
But there just isn’t the pure power and size there to beat byu over 4 quarters, among other reasons. Usu has probably the smallest starting DL in FBS that goes 230 lbs, 255 lbs, 275 lbs, 235 lbs. Usu also just lost their starting Safety for the season and doesn’t have a ton of depth.
I don’t see how USU can stop BYU’s run game. Byu will be able to move the LOS scrimmage all night. Usu will have to sell out on the run to stop it, which will leave WR’s running wide open.
I’m confident the game will end in a double digit win for BYU. That’s not taking anything away from usu either, byu is just a legit top 15 team and has a big powerful team.

That I disagree with. Usu has shown they’re better than Arizona, Washington st, usf, Idaho state, GA southern.
