Bunch of dummies who got high on social media fame and spent all the money as it came in cause they somehow thought this new stream of income was gonna last forever.
And they were all like “this company is terrible cause it’s a pyramid scheme,” but they all stayed in the company and made 100,000s BECAUSE it was a pyramid scheme. And the irony is that the catalyst for the majority of the higher level retailers actually leaving the company and then bashing LLR for the documentary was because the company changed the structure to move away from being a pyramid scheme. Otherwise they’d still be happy “mentors” and “coaches” enjoying their monthly bonus checks.
Don’t get me wrong, the company and the founders are terrible people, I just couldn’t bring myself to feel sorry for most of the women who they were actually interviewing in the documentary. Almost all of them were top level retailers who made a ton over just a couple of years and only soured because LLR changed their structure and made their down line less profitable to them.
And the event coordinator dude leaving the company and immediately getting scammed by a fake cannabis Ponzi scheme was pretty awesome too.
I did feel sorry for the low level retailers (none of whom really were a part of the doc). They got swindled and got nothing out of it.
