That season, BYU could have beaten Cal and started 3-0 against P5 schools.
This team appears to be much more resilient with stronger player leadership. I don't see this team blowing some of the winnable games from 2018.
To bring this back to the offense, I see a lot of room fort improvement at the QB position. I want to see the ball come out on time. I don't want to see the QB wait until someone is wide open down field before throwing a rocket. With teams focused on stopping Allgeier (BYU did not have a back like him in 2018), the QB play should have been better. South Florida is a good opportunity to get some rhythm back in the passing game.
