It's a message board with thousands of different posters, all individuals with their own opinions. Usually people here try to be respectful and thoughtful, though sometimes they aren't all that civil. Tell me, how is that different from Twitter? Frankly, IMO, twitter is FAR more toxic and has a much broader area of effect, meaning that that toxicity spreads a lot further and is more damaging, especially if you're a BYU fan who says things solely to separate yourself from a group and belittle the group you've singled out. Does that happen on Twitter? I seem to recall it happening from time to time...
