USF - maybe underrated a bit?
I think BYU wins this game by more than a touchdown but I don’t believe it will be the blowout everyone seems to expect.

From the bit I’ve learned, 2020 USF had a lot of injuries and COVID issues leading to their 1-8 season. They’ve had all kinds of transfers in, many from good P5 programs, and not a lot of time for the team to develop and click. Coaching staff is fairly new still. USF has some good athletes. Oh and… 2019.

I do not see them pulling off a win in LES but the talent is there to make it close.

I really like the way BYU is playing but I am concerned about the offense not executing consistently. Much less so about the D, which I didn’t expect this season.

I trust the coaching staff is keeping the players grounded and focused on correcting mistakes. This is the game to show significant improvement on both sides of the ball, but I for one am not expecting a score like was typical last year.

The only reason to worry even a little bit about this game is because BYU's offense has been inconsistent (Indy Coug, Sep 24, 2021 at 8:43am)
