Kalani has shown us that relationships matter, a lot. Maybe more than all else. It’s who he is. He’s expressed his love for Whitt and Lavell, and his players. Why would you leave for USC? Money. That’s the first, last and final answer. And I don’t think that’s his first priority. Everything else he values is here, at home. It would shock me to see him take that job; it would mean either his values/priorities are different than the things he says, or he lacks awareness of his own priorities (which I doubt).
I think he’d be more likely to take over at Utah than USC. Heaven Forbid.
