He’s done sports but has always lacked a killer instinct. Happy to be on the field or in the pool but it was easy to see he was having fun… just not fired up to push himself.

But it seems like a switch flipped this year. His competitive goals and focus are just different.

So I found myself wondering, this week, if I could go through college recruiting with him someday.
